As discussed during our Annual Meeting, we are looking for volunteers that would like to suggest and help organize community events.   Some events discussed have been:

– A Fall Event (Halloween/Thanksgiving) to be hosted in the park.  In the past we hosted this for kids and dogs (with support from Demi’s Dog House), but can also be structured as a great meet and greet event for neighbors.  The HOA has rented tables in the past and provided food and refreshments.  Please contact us if you would like to help organize!

– A Spring Event (April) to be hosted in the park.  In the past we hosted a crawfish boil as a meet and greet for neighbors.  The HOA has rented tables in the past and provided food and refreshments.  Please contact us if you would like to help organize!

– A neighborhood Garage Sale.  The most likely location for this would be on a closed street for a Saturday morning for instance.  Through the Property Manager, tables could be rented and organized so that the area is  kept clean of debris and items after the event.  This would be a great way to empty out some of the items in your garage and closets (and not have to deal with Craigslist or Ebay!) .  This would be a great way to meet your neighbors as well.  The Board is open to receive great ideas!
